My approach to leadership coaching includes a heavy focus on emotional intelligence (EI) which, in a nutshell, is the ability to understand and manage your emotions and those of the people around you. I use formal emotional intelligence assessment tools (which you can read about here) to help you better understand yourself and identify opportunities to improve your relationships, performance and decision-making.
I also have a deep understanding of how the mind works and the role it plays in changing perspective and behaviour – and more than 15 years of experience in HR and coaching.
I leverage EI foundationally in my practice because it is an absolutely critical ingredient for success as a leader (and a person). According to psychologist and award-winning author Daniel Goleman, “EI is key to high performance at all levels, particularly for outstanding leadership.”

In-person meetings are available in Toronto (and, in some cases, outside for a fee). If you are outside the GTA or simply prefer it, our meetings can take place virtually. All prices are subject to HST.

If you have questions or would like to explore whether I’d be a fit for you, the first step is to schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation.
If you choose to proceed with a coaching package, I’ll send through an agreement, an invoice (for the full package amount), plus an invitation to schedule your initial meeting.
At your initial meeting, we will talk in depth about your goals and what you hope to achieve through our coaching. I will also introduce you to emotional intelligence and how we’re going to use it to get you where you want to go.
Next you’ll complete an individual EQ-i2.0 and/or EQ 360 assessment. Once analyzed, you will receive the results of your assessment and we will de-brief together.
Once we’ve identified where you are and the transformation you aspire to, we can start making it happen! We will schedule your coaching sessions. Coaching sessions take place in person (in Toronto) or via Skype.
Coaching doesn’t have to end after three sessions! There are additional options available for leadership influence coaching clients including additional sessions and EI thought leadership/team sessions.
